The second workshop, to be delivered twice across Northamptonshire, will begin by asking participants why their business should be on line. They will be encouraged to consider the modern trading world and why being digital is so important.
A website is considered a ‘must’ in the business world but many SMEs have to decide do they build their own website or look for a provider. This session looks at the pros and cons, the costs associated and what other successful firms are doing.
We live in a mobile world and the use of smart phones is quickly overtaking the role of the desk top and the lap top. An online business has to be smart phone compatible and we look and discuss what this means, what needs to be done and what needs to be avoided.
As with all of our workshops we believe that participation is invaluable. There will be a short group exercise called ‘Your company website’ asking business to think and feedback on what their website should look like and what it should ‘do.’
The second part of this training will look at social media and how 1 in every 4 purchases in business is made using social media as a reference. We will look at why social media is so important and how it is not about the ‘sell’ but the ‘engage.’
This session will end taking participants through easy to use steps to set up social media accounts and run them effectively and realistically.
