This week, Growing Corby has announced the next series of innovation and creativity workshops that will start in February 2015 and we are urging businesses to register to avoid disappointment.
3 successful Growing Corby workshops have already taken place, looking at topics such as ‘what is innovation?’ and innovation in marketing. Four more are now set to take place in February and March 2015.
The full day workshops are split into morning and afternoon sessions and will cover the following topics:
The first session will start with an overview of where to look for funding opportunities followed by how to write compelling applications. The afternoon session will focus on how to write a strong business plan.
A key area for all grant funding applications is demonstrating the need for your product or service. The first session will provide knowledge and techniques to undertake market research. The afternoon session will look at hints and tips for creating effective marketing.
The morning session will focus on the new product development journey and is targeted at people starting a product business for the first time or are expanding a portfolio. The afternoon session will cover important aspects of intellectual property.
The first session will provide participants with the vital knowledge and skills in website development to enhance visibility and drive traffic. The second part of the session will cover the ever more important area of social media for businesses.
All the workshops run from 9.30 – 4.00 and also include a free networking lunch. There are limited spaces on each workshop so to register your place, visit eventpilot.evolutive.co.uk/events or call 01536 560224.
