The University of Northampton was established in 2005 but it’s roots date back to 1924. We have six specialists schools which include the Schools of the Arts, Education, Health, Business, Science and Technology and Social Science.
However, we offer much more than courses. We have many schemes and groups in place to help businesses, such as our Enterprise Club. We have also been successfully running many internships and boast close links with many well known companies in the area.

As part of the Growing Corby project, our objective is to develop and support start-ups and existing SMEs in Corby. This will be done by two methods:
1. An internship and consultancy service
2. Market research and insight
As part of the Growing Corby project, we have employed a dedicated Market Analyst who could offer SMEs in Corby up to 12 hours of market research. Businesses who sign up to the service will also receive a detailed report based on local, countywide and national statistics.
The other service that we are offering is an internship and consultancy service, whereby start-ups and existing businesses can benefit from the support of a dedicated student who will be able to undertake valuable business projects. We know requirements from each business will be unique so the level of support can vary depending on your needs.
